JITM于2016年1月被ESCI收录
JITM于2016年1月被美国汤森路透科技集团的ESCI（Emerging Sources Citation Index）收录，读者今后可通过Web of Science检索到JITM发表的最新论文。
ESCI （http://ip-science.thomsonreuters.com/cgi-bin/jrnlst/jlresults.cgi）是汤森路透于2015年11月新推出的数据库，是Web of Science核心合集（Web of Science Core Collection）中的一个新子集，保持了和其他子集相同的高质量索引数据标准。ESCI收录符合汤森路透选刊标准、正在被SCI评估的高质量同行评议期刊。虽然不公布影响因子，但被收录的期刊可以在Web of Science核心合集中检索到全文。进入ESCI的杂志已经通过初始评估，经过更加严格的评估过程和遴选标准被SCIE、SSCI等Web of Science其他数据库收录的可能性相对提高。
ESCI目前收录期刊3100种，中国期刊42种。作为首批被收录的中国期刊之一，JITM涵盖了基础和临床医学研究的各个领域，以快速发表转化医学最新重要研究成果为办刊宗旨，为医学、生命科学等相关学科的科研人员提供了一个及时交流科研成果与思想的新平台。ECSI收录是对JITM质量和发展潜力的认可，藉此JITM将为转化医学研究提供更加优质的期刊出版服务。
Inclusion of JITM in ESCI in January, 2016
Journal of International Translational Medicine (JITM) was included in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by American Thomson Reuters in January 2016, and the latest articles published in JITM will be retrieved in Web of Science in future.
ESCI (http://ip-science.thomsonreuters.com/cgi-bin/jrnlst/jlresults.cgi) is a newly launched database by American Thomson Reuters in November 2015, and is one of the new subsets of Web of Science Core Collection, which maintains the high-quality index data criteria similar to those in other subsets. ESCI mainly includes journals that conform to the journal-selecting criteria of Thomson Reuters and high-quality peer-review journals that are in in-process evaluation by SCI. Though the impact factor is not published, the whole texts of included articles can be retrieved in Web of Science Core Collection. Journals included in ESCI have passed the initial evaluation, so they have relatively higher potential to be included by other databases in Web of Science (such as SCIE and SSCI, etc.) after more strict evaluation process and selection criteria.
At present, a total of 3100 journals have been included in ESCI, 42 of which are Chinese journals. As one of the initially included Chinese journals, JITM covers various fields of basic and clinical medicines, aiming to rapidly publish the latest important research results of translational medicine and provide a new platform for scientific researchers of related disciplines (medicine, bioscience, etc.) to timely exchange scientific results and thoughts. Inclusion of JITM in ESCI represents the international approval of JITM quality and developmental potential. Thereby, it is firmly believed that JITM will provide more superior journal publishing services for translational medicine research.
